It is traditional during the High Holy Days to bring the memory of our Jewish ancestors forward into the present. It is also traditional at this time to bring to the forefront of our memory those departed loved ones from our own personal past, inscribing their names in the Book of Remembrance. This book will be distributed during the Yizkor Service on Yom Kippur.
